Brandon Ek (@brandonehk) is 18 years old boy from California who loves fashion, fitness, and adventures. He starts his daily activity with pulling his self out of bed “much like a zombie” but after finishing his daily classes he has much more energy. He tend to workout, meal prep, and manage his social media, but he also love spending his spare time with often booked with either nonsense filled adventures with friends, gathering with friends and family, as well as just relaxing and enjoying some video games or cartoons.
He said “Honestly, It’s tough managing my time. Meal prepping and working out might not sound that time intensive, but they truly are, and social media is such a huge block of my time. Now add school classes and maintaining a GPA, it builds up, plus who doesn’t wanna enjoy some free time. For me the key was understanding my priorities and my future goals. Once I knew what I really wanted and loved in life, I was able to cut out activities that wastes my time, and now with determination and focus, I am able to achieve it all and still enjoy myself the entire time. Don’t separate work hard and play hard, do both at the same time! Enjoy your work, let your play work for you”.
He would describe his fashion style as a hybrid of streetwear and Italian style. He definitely lean more towards the dark of streetwear, however he is starting to shift towards the brighter, easier Italian style. “I definitely find myself drawing from @magic_fox who perfectly represents the mix of streetwear and Italian that I love”. Right now he is loving Connor Murphy for his physique orientated content, but he also loving Sw00zie with his all around fun and adventurous. His favorite brands are ADIDAS. “Their shoes are fire, not to mention there iconic apparel with that gorgeous trefoil”. And also CALVIN KLEIN as well, “but yet to get a good collection”
He is currently always taking photos for his style with his close friend Rusty Jones (@getrusty) “We are very freelance, but we maintain a very professional method amidst our shoots, and honestly his ability and talent is just awe inspiring”, well I have to say his collaboration with his friend always work, Brandon has a photogenic face, and Rusty I think he is such a talented guy who could develop photos into a very cool image.
For the rest of this year he want to find his self in some bodybuilding competition, “honestly love the idea of just pushing my body to its physical capabilities”. And also would love to just enjoy some fun senior trips and vacations as his transition into college. He want to improve his self in the next year to get more strict in terms of his daily routines. “I need way more sleep. I’m lacking on muscle development, and honestly sleeping through way to many classes. Also just a lot of less procrastination in general”.
Me: How do you think about me? ;)
“You are honestly like such a chill, nice guy with such a compassion for others. Honestly it’s so uncommon for a person to offer the chance to be interviewed, yet alone be patient and easygoing with it. Can tell you have such a nice personality, not to mention your amazing insight in regards to fashion and design in general”.
Well, this is my words for Brandon. I hope whatever you’re doing in this year could make you feel happy and feel blessed, and good luck to hit your goals in this year. I have to say that I really adore you, I adore your nice personality, I hope someday we can meet wherever it’s place and do collaborating more fun.
hey hey hey I'm back
how are you?
I have been meditating to get back my passion about fashion by watching several films and I want to share with you,
so if you are a fashion people you need to watch this films
here are my recommendations ...
1. The Devil Wears Prada
Andy (Anne Hathaway) is a recent college graduate with big dreams. Upon landing a job at prestigious Runway magazine, she finds herself the assistant to diabolical editor Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep). Andy questions her ability to survive her grim tour as Miranda's whipping girl without getting scorched.
2. Head Over Heels
Although she has an excellent job at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and a fabulous apartment with model roommates, New Yorker Amanda Pierce (Monica Potter) remains unlucky in love and intent on finding the right guy. When she develops a crush on neighbor Jim Winston (Freddie Prinze Jr.), she begins to spy on him and witnesses his apparent involvement in a murder. Since things don't add up, she tries to figure out what really happened -- and if she still has a shot at dating the guy.
3. The September Issue
Each August, fashion mavens look forward to getting their hands on a copy of Vogue magazine's autumn issue. Filmmaker R.J. Cutler gains unprecedented access to the inner workings of this fashion bible, as legendary Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour and her staff carry out the massive preparations necessary to produce the issue.
4. Funny Face
Dispatched on an assignment, New York City-based fashion photographer Dick Avery (Fred Astaire) is struck by the beauty of Jo Stockton (Audrey Hepburn), a shy bookstore employee he's photographed by accident, who he believes has the potential to become a successful model. He gets Jo to go with him to France, where he snaps more pictures of her against iconic Parisian backdrops. In the process, they fall for one another, only to find hurdles in their way.
5. Coco before Chanel
Young Coco Chanel (Audrey Tautou) works as a seamstress by day and a cabaret entertainer by night, then she meets a wealthy heir (Benoît Poelvoorde) and becomes his lover and fashion consultant. Tired of the flowery hats, tight corsets and yards of lace that define women's fashion, Coco uses her lover's clothing as a starting point to distill an elegant and sophisticated line of women's clothing that propels her to the top of Parisian haute couture.
6. Confession of a Shopaholic
Like many New York City gals, Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) loves to shop. The trouble is, she shops so much that she is drowning in debt. Rebecca would love to work at the city's top fashion magazine but, so far, has not been able to get her foot in the door. Then she lands a job as an advice columnist for a financial magazine owned by the same company. Her column becomes an overnight success, but her secret threatens to ruin her love life and career.
