6 Films about Fashion | Editor Picks!

hey hey hey I'm back
how are you?

I have been meditating to get back my passion about fashion by watching several films and I want to share with you,
so if you are a fashion people you need to watch this films
here are my recommendations ...

1. The Devil Wears Prada

Andy (Anne Hathaway) is a recent college graduate with big dreams. Upon landing a job at prestigious Runway magazine, she finds herself the assistant to diabolical editor Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep). Andy questions her ability to survive her grim tour as Miranda's whipping girl without getting scorched.

2. Head Over Heels

Although she has an excellent job at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and a fabulous apartment with model roommates, New Yorker Amanda Pierce (Monica Potter) remains unlucky in love and intent on finding the right guy. When she develops a crush on neighbor Jim Winston (Freddie Prinze Jr.), she begins to spy on him and witnesses his apparent involvement in a murder. Since things don't add up, she tries to figure out what really happened -- and if she still has a shot at dating the guy.

3. The September Issue

Each August, fashion mavens look forward to getting their hands on a copy of Vogue magazine's autumn issue. Filmmaker R.J. Cutler gains unprecedented access to the inner workings of this fashion bible, as legendary Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour and her staff carry out the massive preparations necessary to produce the issue.

4. Funny Face

Dispatched on an assignment, New York City-based fashion photographer Dick Avery (Fred Astaire) is struck by the beauty of Jo Stockton (Audrey Hepburn), a shy bookstore employee he's photographed by accident, who he believes has the potential to become a successful model. He gets Jo to go with him to France, where he snaps more pictures of her against iconic Parisian backdrops. In the process, they fall for one another, only to find hurdles in their way.

5. Coco before Chanel

Young Coco Chanel (Audrey Tautou) works as a seamstress by day and a cabaret entertainer by night, then she meets a wealthy heir (BenoƮt Poelvoorde) and becomes his lover and fashion consultant. Tired of the flowery hats, tight corsets and yards of lace that define women's fashion, Coco uses her lover's clothing as a starting point to distill an elegant and sophisticated line of women's clothing that propels her to the top of Parisian haute couture.

6. Confession of a Shopaholic

Like many New York City gals, Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) loves to shop. The trouble is, she shops so much that she is drowning in debt. Rebecca would love to work at the city's top fashion magazine but, so far, has not been able to get her foot in the door. Then she lands a job as an advice columnist for a financial magazine owned by the same company. Her column becomes an overnight success, but her secret threatens to ruin her love life and career.
